GFuture – Green Tools For a Bright Future is an Erasmus+ Sport project that connects green education, outdoor learning and sport activities to increase the physical activity of children aged 6 to 13, with a special focus on children with learning disabilities. The project promotes inclusive, accessible and sustainable sport and learning practices that can be implemented in schools, sport organisations, NGOs and local communities.
The project will develop a Handbook of Green Education & Sport Methodologies, a Guide of Sustainable Sport Best Practices, and an e-learning platform where teachers, trainers, volunteers and youth workers will be able to learn how to apply the GFuture methodology in practice. Activities include research, capacity-building workshops, online training, sport events, dissemination activities and outreach to primary schools. The project plans to involve at least 120 children, train 120 participants through workshops and 120 participants through online training, and reach at least 40 primary schools through outreach activities.
The project will last 18 months and will be implemented in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy.
